Located just a few miles from Corvallis, the home of Oregon State University and Hewlett-Packard, Philomath is centered in the Willamette Valley, near the Willamette River. Both the Cascade Mountain Range and the Oregon Coast are within a 1 hour drive for multiple recreational activities. Pediatric Therapy Professionals, Inc. is a team of occupational, physical, speech-language and mental health therapists who strive to provide integrated and collaborative services for children from birth through age 18.

We serve children with a wide variety of medical and developmental diagnoses. In addition, we provide mental health services for parents and other adults requiring such support.

Communication and collaboration with local pediatricians and other service providers is key in our mission. Our pediatric service histories range from 2-32 years.


We welcome candidates who enjoy collaborating with other professionals, and demonstrate experience and interest in working with children, as well as creativity in their work. All candidates require licensure in Oregon (or able to obtain). Flexible schedule available.

We have the following positions available:
(1) Pediatric Occupational Therapist, Full-time
Work with a wide range of clients with a variety of diagnoses. Children from birth through approximately 18 years of age with a wide range of diagnoses such as autism, sensory processing disorder, feeding difficulties, down syndrome, orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses, handwriting difficulties, etc. The therapist needs to be able to assess, develop treatment plans, and have excellent communication skills to be able to train parents/caregivers as well as communicate with other members of the team and the client's primary care provider.
  • Oregon OT license required.
  • Excellent documentation skills required.
  • Experience working with children preferred.
  • Experience supervising students and COTAs recommended.
Responsibilities include: providing evaluation and therapy for children with diagnoses such as down syndrome,amputations, cerebral palsy, hemiplegia, motor delays, and torticollis.
(2) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Part-Time to Full-Time position.
Responsibilities include: providing therapy for children and running small groups with diagnoses such as fine and gross motor delay, pervasive developmental disorder, autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, developmental delay, cerebral palsy.

Seeking candidates with experience working with children on a 1:1 basis and the ability to work with clients in small groups. Candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills. COTA responsible to instruct parent/caregivers in home programs as well as write progress and discharge notes.

Oregon COTA license, or the ability to obtain such required.
(3) Speech/Language Pathologist (SLP), Full time
We are seeking a full-time SLP, with potential to increase as desired. We welcome candidates who enjoy collaborating with other professionals, and demonstrate experience and interest in working with children, as well as creativity in their work. CFY candidates considered.

Responsibilities include providing screening, evaluation, and therapy for children with a range of disabilities, including (but not limited to) apraxia, phonological disorders, oral motor difficulties, language impairment, and autism. We serve children with a wide variety of medical and developmental diagnoses. Experience running social/play groups recommended. Communication and collaboration with local pediatricians and other service providers is key in our work.

Experience working with children preferred.
  • Oregon license required.
  • ASHA CCCs preferred.

(4) Speech Therapy Assistant (SLPA), Part Time
We are seeking a part-time SLPA, with potential to increase as desired. We serve children from birth through age 18 with a wide variety of medical and developmental diagnoses. These could be related to diagnoses such as down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, articulation difficulties, etc. Communication and collaboration with local pediatricians and other service providers is key in our mission.

Therapist will be responsible for treating clients on 1:1 basis as well as teaching parents/caregivers in home programs. Therapist will be responsible for daily documentation as well as writing progress notes and obtaining authorization as required.

  • Oregon license required, or ability to obtain license.

(5) Physical Therapist, Full-time
We welcome candidates who enjoy collaborating with other professionals, and demonstrate experience and interest in working with children. Flexible schedule available.

Work with children from birth through approximately 18 years of age with a wide range of diagnoses such as autism, down syndrome, gross motor delay, pervasive developmental disorder, ADHD, torticollis, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, amputation and other orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses.

The therapist needs to be able to assess, develop treatment plans, and have excellent communication skills to be able to train parents/caregivers as well as communicate with other members of the team and the client's primary care provider.
  • Oregon PT license required (or able to obtain)
  • Excellent documentation skills required.
  • Experience working with children preferred.
  • Experience supervising students recommended.
